UI login button fails after git pull

If you run git pull on your ManageIQ appliance to pull down updates, restart and find that you can’t login in the web UI as the buttons are unresponsive, it’s likely you’re running in production mode, some assets were added or changed and haven’t been precompiled.

ManageIQ BoF at Red Hat Summit - June 25

I’m happy to report that we will be having a birds-of-a-feather meetup (aka “BoF”) at Red Hat Summit on Thursday, June 25 at 4pm EDT. A BoF is an informal gathering of people who come together to discuss a particular topic, in this case ManageIQ. We would like to use this opportunity to share some of the community highlights from the previous year, as well as discuss the upcoming roadmap and Capablanca release cycle.

ManageIQ Botvinnik is Here - Control All the Things

We’re very happy to announce that ManageIQ Botvinnik is now generally available. This marks the first full release cycle for ManageIQ as an open source project. As mentioned in previous announcements, we name our releases alphabetically after chess world champions. For the “B” release, we selected Mikhail Botvinnik, a Soviet chess champion from the 1950’s. The “C” release cycle is named after Jose Raul Capablanca, a Cuban world chess champion from 1921-1927.
